BIOGRAPHY
Usher Brunner has been working within the accounting industry for over 13 years. His career began in 2004 where he worked for a sole proprietor gaining experience in preparing personal and corporate tax returns for small businesses. Expanding his scope, he then accepted a position as an Assistant Executive Director for a religious college in Brooklyn where he oversaw all of the financial elements necessary to maintain such a substantial entity, as well as, supervise a $20 million building expansion project to its completion.
Furthering his professional development, Usher took up employment at Roth & Co, where he spent 9 years, initially beginning as a junior associate, and then eventually becoming the first employee in the newly created audit department to develop into a supervisor. Throughout the years that Usher was with Roth & Co., he facilitated various audit and consulting projects for a large variety of for-profit and not-for-profit companies and organizations.
Currently, Usher works as a consultant for his own company, Brunner Consulting. He offers a variety of services such as analyzing business efficacy, offering business restructuring possibilities, setting up proper controls, and providing guidance for business management to construct a sound fiscal department. He also serves as a wealth financial advisor where he offers a full and complete range of financial services to his clients.
EXPERIENCE
Profiting off of his previous extensive experience working in the field for over 13 years, he continues to provide support and guidance to organizations ensuring that they are compliant, organized and successful. Usher also uses his experience working internally with management, fluidly collaborating with them, guiding their understanding and implementation of laws and regulations. He also counsels teams in how to structure effective fiscal departments, while he successfully oversees, manages, and consults within these various projects.
EDUCATION
Usher graduated from Touro College in 2008 earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND INVOLVEMENT
Usher is actively involved in his community and in his shul, investing his time where he believes he will make the most significant difference. He continues his active spiritual life as he runs one of the largest religious libraries in New York. Usher also serves on advisory councils for many non-profit organizations in his neighborhood.
